Amerie Ashley Castillo was born in Belize City, Belize. She attended the University of the West Indies, CaveHill Campus in Barbados and obtained her LLB with First Class Honors in 2020. She further completed her studies at the Norman Manley Law School where she received her Legal Education Certificate (LEC) in 2022.
